PM Shehbaz Sharif Vows to Bring Education, Skills, and Jobs to the Public

Islamabad: Shehbaz Sharif has said that the government is committed to ensuring modern education, skill development, and employment opportunities for the people, describing it as a promise to be delivered “at the doorstep of every citizen.”
He made the remarks while addressing a special ceremony at Pakistan Monument held to mark the first anniversary of the “Battle of Haq” victory.
The event was attended by President Asif Ali Zardari, Field Marshal Asim Munir, the chiefs of the armed forces, the Chairman Senate, Speaker National Assembly, federal ministers, foreign diplomats, and senior civil and military officials.
In his speech, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan’s armed forces had delivered a strong response to a nighttime attack by the enemy.
He stated that “truth cannot be extinguished by the breath of falsehood,” adding that Pakistan’s forces responded decisively to what he described as aggression carried out under the cover of darkness.
He also thanked God for Pakistan’s success in the conflict and claimed that India had made repeated allegations following the Pahalgam incident but failed to present any evidence.
“The summary of this war is simple: our falcons dominated the skies while the enemy aircraft turned into wreckage,” he said.
The Prime Minister paid tribute to the martyrs and praised the role of the Pakistan Air Force, saying that the bravery of the pilots made it difficult for the enemy to survive the confrontation.
He also announced that May 10 would be observed as “Youm-e-Marka-e-Haq” every year in recognition of the victory.
Shehbaz Sharif appreciated international diplomatic efforts, saying former US President Donald Trump played a key role in preventing escalation between two nuclear-armed states.
He reiterated that Pakistan seeks peace in the region and honored the sacrifices of those who lost their lives in service of the country.
The Prime Minister further praised Field Marshal Asim Munir’s leadership, saying history would remember it in golden words.
He also highlighted Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts for peace in neighboring Iran and acknowledged support from China, praising bilateral ties as “higher than the Himalayas and sweeter than honey.”
