Asad Qaiser Vows Continued Political Struggle, Criticizes Government Policies

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily): Senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Qaiser has strongly criticized the government’s economic policies, stating that rising inflation has pushed people toward extreme hardship.
Addressing a ceremony, Qaiser challenged Nawaz Sharif and Ishaq Dar to present a workable budget for a common citizen within limited income, alleging that current policies have made life unbearable for the public.
He claimed that inflation has led to severe distress among citizens, including farmers in Punjab, who are struggling due to the absence of a minimum support price for wheat. He also criticized the closure of trade routes, particularly with Afghanistan, stating that while global trade routes are opening, Pakistan is restricting its own.
Qaiser added that farmers of wheat, sugarcane, and tobacco are dissatisfied, and neither laborers nor investors are content with the current government. He questioned the government’s performance, calling it a failure and alleging it lacks a public mandate.
Reaffirming his party’s stance, Asad Qaiser said that PTI will continue its democratic struggle. “We are political people. We will raise our voice on the assembly floor and on the streets, but we will not bow before them,” he asserted.
