Pakistan Military Contingent Reaches Saudi Arabia, Claims Indian Media Report

Islamabad: A large Pakistani military contingent has reportedly arrived in Saudi Arabia as part of a bilateral defence cooperation agreement, according to Indian media reports.
The claim was published by The Hindu, which stated that the deployed contingent includes approximately 13,000 personnel from the Pakistan Army along with a group of 10 to 18 fighter aircraft.
The report suggests that the deployment is part of a long-term defence agreement signed between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia last year, aimed at strengthening military and strategic cooperation between the two countries.
According to the publication, the arriving forces consist of experienced soldiers, while the air component is intended to support air defence and operational coordination within the mission framework.
The report further claims that Saudi authorities have confirmed the arrival of the contingent, describing it as part of ongoing efforts to enhance bilateral defence ties.
However, there has been no independent official confirmation from Pakistani authorities regarding the exact size or operational details of the deployment.
