Iranian Delegation Returns Home After Participating in Islamabad Peace Talks

Islamabad: The Iranian delegation has departed for Tehran after participating in high-level peace talks held in Islamabad, according to official sources.
The delegation was seen off by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Chief of Defence Forces Asim Munir, and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
The Iranian team had engaged in 21 hours of negotiations with the U.S. delegation as part of broader efforts aimed at reducing regional tensions. The talks reportedly included three to four rounds of detailed discussions, during which both sides presented and exchanged their respective positions.
The Iranian delegation was led by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, along with other senior officials.
Upon departure, the Iranian representatives expressed gratitude to Pakistani authorities for hosting the negotiations and facilitating the dialogue process, acknowledging Islamabad’s role in supporting diplomatic engagement between the parties.
