Pakistan, Saudi Arabia Agree to Boost Trade and Investment Cooperation After High-Level Talks in Islamabad

Islamabad: Shehbaz Sharif held an important meeting with Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan during the latter’s one-day visit to the federal capital, where both sides agreed to enhance cooperation in trade and investment.

The meeting, held at the Prime Minister’s House, was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.

Prime Minister Sharif warmly welcomed the visiting dignitary and conveyed his best wishes and deep respect for Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He also fondly recalled his recent cordial telephone conversation with the Crown Prince, appreciating his goodwill toward Pakistan.

The prime minister expressed gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s continued economic and financial support, noting that it has played a vital role in Pakistan’s economic stability over the years.

Reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment, Sharif stated that the people and government of Pakistan stand firmly with their Saudi counterparts and are keen to further expand collaboration across all sectors, particularly in trade, investment, and economic development.

Finance Minister Al-Jadaan thanked the prime minister for the warm reception and reiterated the Kingdom’s commitment to strengthening its long-standing brotherly ties with Pakistan, in line with the vision of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
