Lahore: Junaid Safdar Arrives with Wedding Procession to Receive Bride

Lahore: Junaid Safdar, son of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, arrived with his wedding procession to receive his bride in Lahore.

The baraat reached a private housing society in Lahore, attended by former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, other family members, federal and provincial ministers, as well as local and international guests.

Junaid Safdar is marrying Shanayze Ali Rohail, the granddaughter of senior Pakistan Muslim League-N leader and former Member of the National Assembly Sheikh Rohail Asghar.

The wedding celebrations will conclude with the walima ceremony, scheduled to be held tomorrow at Jati Umra. The mehndi ceremony was held last night at Jati Umra as part of the wedding festivities.
