Islamabad High Court Orders No Harassment of Public in M-Tag Motorcycle Case

Islamabad High Court has issued the written order of its hearing on the M-Tag system for motorcycles held yesterday, emphasizing that citizens should not be harassed, threatened, or unnecessarily troubled by the police in this matter.
The court’s one-page written order specifically instructs authorities to **avoid any form of intimidation, coercion, or undue inconvenience** to the public.
During the hearing, the petitioner’s lawyer raised concerns over reports of harassment and unnecessary interference by police, while the government counsel requested time to obtain instructions from the relevant authorities and assist the court.
The Islamabad High Court has scheduled the next hearing in the case for April 6.
