Fire Breaks Out at Babar Center in Islamabad’s F-8 Markaz

ISLAMABAD: A major fire suddenly broke out at a commercial plaza in the busy F-8 Markaz area of Islamabad, engulfing a clinic located on the building’s first floor.
According to reports, the fire erupted at an aesthetic skincare clinic situated on the first floor of Babar Center. The flames and thick smoke quickly spread throughout the clinic.
After receiving information about the incident, fire brigade vehicles and Rescue 1122 teams immediately reached the scene and launched a rescue operation. Several firefighting vehicles are being used to douse the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to other shops and offices in the building.

Rescue teams also began evacuating people from Babar Center and nearby buildings through safe routes to prevent any loss of life.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. Authorities are investigating whether it was caused by a chemical incident, a short circuit or another factor.
Police and administrative officials are also present at the scene to control traffic and crowds and facilitate emergency operations.
Fire officials said efforts were underway to bring the blaze completely under control.
