Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan Chief Calls for Education Over Policing in Province

Quetta: Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rahman Baloch, chief of Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan, has emphasized that the province needs quality education, schools, pens, and books rather than additional police stations, check posts, or security operations. He highlighted that the youth are the most valuable asset of any nation, and proper guidance is essential for building a strong and respectable society.

Maulana Hidayat made these remarks during an Iftar dinner organized by Islami Jamiat Talaba (IJT) Quetta, titled “Educational and Moral Needs of Students”, held at a local marriage hall. The event was attended by senior IJT leaders including Ehsanullah Nasir, Akhundzada Ata-ur-Rahman, Naseebullah, and other prominent figures.

He praised Islami Jamiat Talaba as the largest and most organized student organization in the country, playing a significant role in promoting academic, ethical, and ideological development among students. Speakers stressed the importance of strengthening students not only academically but also morally and intellectually, preparing them to serve society as responsible citizens in the future.

The event highlighted the need for students to stay away from negative activities and instead focus on knowledge, character-building, and community service. IJT provides youth with a positive platform to develop leadership skills, discipline, and adherence to Islamic values.

The evening concluded with prayers for the nation’s security, progress, and stability, followed by Iftar and dinner for the attendees.
