No Deal Has Been Made or Will Be Made with PTI Founder, Says Rana Sanaullah

Karachi: Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, has categorically denied reports of any deal with the founder of PTI, stating that no agreement has been made nor will one be made.

Speaking on Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Sath on Geo News, Rana Sanaullah said the government has openly offered dialogue but not a secret deal. He added that the Prime Minister has invited the PTI founder three times for talks, proposing a “Charter of Stability” for Pakistan. However, he claimed that the PTI founder remains unwilling to engage in discussions due to what he described as stubbornness.

Referring to the May 9 incidents, Rana Sanaullah reiterated that a sincere apology is the first and foremost requirement, echoing earlier remarks made by the DG ISPR. He emphasized that his statements should be viewed in their entirety rather than taken out of context.

The adviser further revealed that on November 24, a discussion did take place, but the PTI founder did not agree to move forward. He also dismissed claims that leaders such as Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Raja Nasir Abbas had been authorized to negotiate, calling such assertions meaningless. According to him, neither had been granted any formal negotiation authority.

Regarding the PTI founder’s health, Rana Sanaullah stated that he is receiving the best possible medical care and could be shifted to Shifa or any other top hospital if doctors recommend it. He added that no delay had ever occurred in providing medical treatment.

Commenting on the announcement of a new “force” by the PTI founder, Rana Sanaullah remarked that it would have little impact and would prove more unsuccessful than previous sit-ins and wheel-jam protests.
