UN Experts Call for Independent Probe Into Jeffrey Epstein Files, Cite Possible Crimes Against Humanity

Experts affiliated with the United Nations have described allegations contained in the emails of disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein as potentially amounting to crimes against humanity, urging an independent investigation into the so-called “Epstein files” case.
According to the experts, hundreds of thousands of documents linked to Epstein point to the existence of a global criminal network that may have engaged in acts legally classified as crimes against humanity. They stressed the need for a transparent and impartial inquiry to fully uncover the scope of the alleged offenses.
Epstein was found dead in a U.S. jail in August 2019 while awaiting trial on federal charges. His death was officially ruled a suicide, though it sparked widespread controversy and speculation.
Recently, the United States Department of Justice released files containing information related to allegations of Epstein’s involvement in the sexual abuse of minors and human trafficking, reigniting global debate over the case and calls for accountability.
