Old Interview of Disgraced Financier Jeffrey Epstein Resurfaces, Claims Donations to Polio Campaigns in Pakistan and India

An old interview of notorious financier Jeffrey Epstein, who was accused of sexual abuse of minors and human trafficking, has resurfaced in which he is heard claiming that he donated money to polio eradication campaigns in Pakistan and India.
In the interview, reportedly given to an unidentified person at an undisclosed location and time, Epstein is seen admitting to being a sexual predator. During the conversation, the interviewer asked Epstein whether he considered himself “the devil.” Epstein responded that he did not have an answer to the question and asked why it was being raised. The interviewer said that Epstein possessed all the traits associated with the devil, to which Epstein replied that he was not the devil and, in fact, feared the devil.
British media has speculated that the interview may have been conducted by Steve Bannon, former chief strategist to Donald Trump, during Trump’s first presidential term.
When questioned about whether his wealth was illicit, Epstein denied the claim. The interviewer countered by saying that Epstein had amassed his fortune by advising some of the world’s worst individuals who had committed serious crimes. Epstein responded by stating that morality has always been a complex subject.

Epstein also claimed that he had donated funds for polio eradication efforts in Pakistan and India. He argued that instead of questioning whether such money should be used for vaccinating children, people should ask the mothers whose children received the vaccines and would now be protected from polio whether he should have donated the money.
At one point, the interviewer remarked that Epstein was a mathematician and posed a hypothetical question: if he went to a clinic and told poor, sick people that the money was donated by a criminal, how many would say it did not matter where the money came from. Epstein replied that everyone would say they needed the money for their children.
However, despite Epstein’s claims, it remains unclear whether he actually donated any funds to Pakistan’s polio eradication campaign. No confirmation is available regarding if such donations were made, during which government’s tenure, to whom the money was given, or through which channel it was transferred.
