Security Forces Kill 133 Terrorists in Two-Day Operation in Balochistan; 15 Soldiers Martyred

Quetta: Security forces have killed 133 terrorists belonging to the India-backed group “Fitna-e-Hindustan” during operations carried out over two days in Balochistan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Saturday.
According to ISPR, sponsored terrorists attempted to destabilize peace in Balochistan and carried out coordinated attacks on January 31 in several cities, including Quetta, Mastung, Noshki, Dalbandin, Kharan, Gwadar, and Pasni. The attacks targeted civilians and resulted in the martyrdom of 18 people, including women, children, and laborers.
ISPR said that security forces launched effective and timely counter-operations, successfully foiling the attacks and killing 92 terrorists, including three suicide bombers. With these operations, the total number of terrorists killed in Balochistan over the two-day period rose to 133.
During clearance operations, 15 security personnel embraced martyrdom, ISPR added.
The military’s media wing stated that the attacks were carried out on the instructions of terrorist ringleaders operating from outside Pakistan. It added that the planners, facilitators, and accomplices involved in the attacks would be brought to justice at all costs.
Meanwhile, Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti announced that the anti-terrorism operation in the province has been completed. He said that security forces gave a strong and decisive response to the terrorists, making it clear that even multiple such attacks cannot weaken the state’s resolve.
The chief minister emphasized that there would be no compromise on peace in Balochistan. He said that the families of the martyrs remain resolute and assured them that every drop of blood shed would be accounted for, reaffirming the government’s commitment to lasting peace and security in the province.
