Establishment of Koh-e-Suleman Division a Major Step Toward Ending Backwardness, One Cannot Be Displeased With the State: CM Mir Sarfraz Bugti

**Rakhni:** Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that the establishment of the Koh-e-Suleman Division is a significant step toward eliminating underdevelopment and ensuring good governance in the region, stressing that while people may be dissatisfied with governance, they can never be displeased with the state.

Addressing a large public gathering in Rakhni on the occasion of granting divisional headquarters status to the area, the Chief Minister said the Koh-e-Suleman mountain range is the historic homeland of brave and dignified tribes, and the creation of the new division is not merely an administrative move but a commitment to provide full facilities and development opportunities to the people.

He said that if a division has been created, the government will also fulfill its responsibilities by ensuring development and public services. Expressing satisfaction, Mir Sarfraz Bugti noted that Rakhni, previously a union council, is now being upgraded to a divisional headquarters, which will play a key role in the region’s progress.

The Chief Minister announced several development initiatives, including the establishment of a 50-bed hospital at the new divisional headquarters, completion of a residential college and the Nahar Kor Dam, granting Rakhni the status of a municipal committee, renaming it Municipal Committee Dera Khetran, launching work on a model bazaar, setting up the Rakhni Press Club, and initiating a housing scheme.

He said the people of the districts within the division are like brothers and that just as Koh-e-Suleman stands tall, so do the people of the region with pride and dignity. Mir Sarfraz Bugti warned that Baloch youth have been pushed into a futile conflict through conspiracies aimed at distancing them from the state. He emphasized that Baloch youth will not become part of such wars or propaganda, adding that Baloch and Pakistan are inseparable, and their survival and prosperity lie together.

The Chief Minister reiterated that governments may make mistakes and people may object to governance, but the state itself should never be rejected. He assured the public that all promises made during the gathering would be fulfilled.

Concluding his address, Mir Sarfraz Bugti urged the youth of Koh-e-Suleman to turn dreams into reality through hard work, character, knowledge, and determination. He encouraged them to adopt the pen as their weapon and education as their strength, saying that nations are built on character, not slogans.

The gathering was attended by large numbers of people from the Khetran, Bugti, Zarkoon, Buzdar, Ghurshin, and Laghari tribes. Provincial Assembly members Zark Khan Mandokhail and Haji Ali Madad Jatak, Pakistan Peoples Party leader Mir Baz Muhammad Khetran, former provincial minister Naseebullah Marri, National Party leader Abdul Karim Khetran, District Chairman Dera Bugti Wadera Ghulam Nabi Shambani, District Chairman Kohlu Mir Nisar Ahmed Marri, and Sami Khan Zarkoon also addressed the gathering and praised the Chief Minister’s public-friendly initiative, calling it a historic decision to grant divisional headquarters status to a union council for the first time.
