Pashtunkhwa MAP Condemns “Ethnic and Systematic Crackdown” on Pashtun Traders in Karachi
Party Warns of Citywide Protest if Operations Continue; Calls Actions a Violation of Constitution and Economic Injustice

**Karachi (Daily Qudrat)** – The **Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PMAP) Sindh chapter** has strongly condemned what it termed a **systematic and ethnically motivated operation** against **Pashtun traders** in Karachi, allegedly being carried out under the guise of anti-encroachment drives.
In a statement, PMAP Sindh accused the **Karachi administration**, under the supervision of the **Commissioner**, of **raiding shops, seizing goods, and targeting only Pashtun-owned businesses**, describing the move as a **blatant abuse of authority** driven by **political directives and ethnic bias**.
The party declared that these actions were **not legitimate legal proceedings**, but rather **an attempt to economically weaken the hardworking Pashtun community** and **create an atmosphere of fear and intimidation** in the city. “The assault on Pashtun traders’ livelihoods is an attack on the economic backbone of the Pashtun nation,” the statement said, warning that **PMAP will not tolerate this injustice**.
PMAP Sindh further stated that Karachi is currently witnessing **administrative revenge and ethnically selective operations**, violating **basic human rights** and the **Constitution of Pakistan**.
The party called on the **federal government**, the **Supreme Court of Pakistan**, the **Chief Justice**, and other **state institutions** to take **immediate notice** of these **illegal and discriminatory actions**. It cautioned that if the operations were not halted, **PMAP Sindh would launch a full-scale public protest and political movement across Karachi**.
