PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Proposes Committee to Unite Like-Minded Parties, Calls for Comprehensive Dialogue

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar has proposed the formation of a committee to bring like-minded political parties together, emphasizing the need for dialogue in view of the country’s prevailing situation.
In a statement, Barrister Gohar said that the country and the armed forces belong to all Pakistanis, adding that “we stood together in the past and will continue to stand together in the future.” He stressed the importance of reconciliation, saying, “Shake hands to create a path, talk so that dialogue leads to solutions,” and called for comprehensive negotiations to address national challenges.
Meanwhile, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi said that all resources are being allocated to one province while KP is being deprived of its due share. He also questioned the lack of discussion on the IMF corruption report and demanded that funds owed by the federation be transferred to the province.
PTI leader Asad Qaiser said that democracy has been completely undermined in the country, alleging that opposition members are unable to even reside in Punjab due to political pressure.
Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the country cannot move forward without implementing the Constitution. He added that economic growth is impossible without stability and stressed the need for a collective struggle to restore constitutional order.
