KP CM Suhail Afridi Vows to March to D-Chowk, Says Will Return Only with Freedom or in Shroud

**Islamabad / Kohat:** Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Suhail Khan Afridi, addressing a public gathering in Kohat, declared that their next march to D-Chowk will aim to secure freedom, and they will return only “with freedom or in a shroud.”
Afridi criticized attempts to suppress the party’s founder and alleged that officials meant to protect their mandate have instead betrayed them. “We are blocked from meeting judges and those entrusted with safeguarding our mandate have looted it; our own protectors have become our killers,” he claimed.
He also condemned threats issued by certain media commentators and stated that protest and negotiation responsibilities have been assigned by party chairman Imran Khan to Mahmood Achakzai and Allama Nasir Abbas. Afridi urged party workers to remain prepared for any call from them.
Afridi accused the federal government of corruption worth PKR 5,300 billion, pushing Pakistan’s debt to PKR 80 trillion, and blamed advisers for plunging the country into financial crisis. He further criticized the Punjab Chief Minister, calling Punjab Police the most corrupt institution in the country, contrasting it with increasing investment in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The KP CM emphasized the need to reclaim real freedom from the federal authorities, framing the march as a continuation of their struggle for governance and justice.
