Balochistan Government Moves to Arrest Over 300 Terrorists, Issue Interpol Red Notices for Out-of-Country Militant Leaders: CM Sarfraz Bugti

Quetta (Daily Qudrat) – The Balochistan government has decided to initiate the arrest of over 300 terrorists and key leaders of banned organizations operating from abroad, alongside issuing Interpol Red Notices and pursuing cases in international courts. The decision was taken during a high-level, extraordinary meeting chaired by Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Thursday.
Officials briefed the CM that all evidence, including call recordings, financial transactions, and links between local facilitators and militant leaders abroad, has been meticulously documented. The meeting emphasized expediting prosecutions against leaders and commanders of banned groups such as BLA, BRA, BLF, UBA, BRG, and Lashkar-e-Balochistan, ensuring that all evidence meets international legal standards.
Chief Minister Bugti instructed the provincial government to collaborate with the Federal Ministries of Interior and Foreign Affairs to accelerate the process of issuing Interpol Red Notices, ensuring that terrorists cannot evade law enforcement anywhere in the world. He stressed that counter-terrorism operations would now be executed decisively, targeting both local facilitators and foreign-based leadership under the provincial action plan.
The CM directed the Interior Department to activate special cells for rapid investigation of sensitive cases and approved an immediate, rigorous crackdown against foreign-based militant commanders and their local networks. Officials highlighted that comprehensive evidence regarding funding, organizational structures, and global activities of terrorist networks is available and will now be formally presented on international platforms.
Addressing the meeting, CM Bugti said, “No terrorist who sheds blood on Balochistan soil will be allowed to hide anywhere in the world. Effective and strict action against all domestic and foreign elements involved in terrorism is now imperative.” He further stressed that leaders of outlawed groups abroad must be exposed on the global stage, and all evidence should be presented in compliance with international legal standards.
He ordered that all sensitive materials and compiled records be submitted to international agencies, courts, and relevant forums through the federal government, ensuring global accountability of terrorist leadership. CM Bugti emphasized that elements challenging state authority will be eliminated decisively, foreign agendas behind terrorism in Balochistan have been exposed, and the province will not fall victim to external influences.
The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakil Qadir Khan, Additional Chief Secretary Interior Hamza Shafqat, and senior security officials. The CM affirmed a zero-tolerance policy against all anti-state elements, vowing to pursue every facilitator to safeguard Balochistan’s peace, public security, and state authority.
