Quetta Customs Enforcement Seizes 28 Non-Custom Paid Vehicles Worth Rs 272 Million in Major Crackdown

**Quetta:** The Collectorate of Customs (Enforcement) Quetta carried out two major operations across Balochistan, seizing 28 non-custom paid (NCP) vehicles valued at Rs 272 million.
Under directives from the Chief Collector of Customs (Enforcement) Islamabad, the first operation led to the confiscation of 19 NCP vehicles worth Rs 120 million. The seized vehicles included high-value models such as Toyota Land Cruiser, Corolla, Prius, Fielder, Crown, Mark X, Premio, Aqua, Vitz, Probox, Mira, and Alto. All vehicles were taken into custody under the Customs Act, 1969 for legal action.
In a second intelligence-based operation, the Customs Enforcement mobile squad, along with FC 74 Wing, raided a warehouse in Quetta city and recovered 9 more NCP vehicles valued at Rs 150 million. These included 2 Toyota Land Cruisers, 2 Crown Hybrid cars, 1 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, 2 Toyota Prius, 1 Suzuki Alto, and 1 Suzuki Heavy Bike.
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) praised the Quetta Enforcement teams for their effective coordination, strict monitoring, and outstanding operational performance. These actions reflect FBR’s firm commitment to curb smuggling, protect national revenue, and ensure adherence to legal trade practices across Pakistan.
