Global Sikh Organization Vows Support to Pakistan Army Amid Indian Threats; Volunteers Ready for Recruitment

Islamabad (Daily Qudrat) — In response to India’s threats over Sindh, the international Sikh organization, Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), expressed its full support for the Pakistan Army and its commitment to stand alongside the military.
Following controversial statements by India’s Defence Minister, Sikh leaders voiced their emotional attachment and loyalty to Pakistan. They urged Sikhs residing in Pakistan to join the army in defense of Sindh.
Prominent Sikh leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannu requested Field Marshal Asim Munir to allow Sikh volunteers from Indian Punjab to also enlist in the Pakistan Army. He emphasized that if Pakistan establishes a recruitment process for Sikh volunteers, thousands worldwide are ready to join.
Pannu proposed creating a dedicated Sikh defense unit, specifically deployed in Sindh, and stressed that no Sikh would support India’s oppressive government or its expansionist actions. He added that United Nations laws permit individuals to refuse participation in war based on their conscience, highlighting the legal basis for volunteer enlistment.
This development underscores the solidarity of Sikh communities with Pakistan amid rising regional tensions.
