Administration Denies PTI Permission for Quetta Rally; Party Vows to Hold Event “at All Costs”

Quetta: The district administration has **refused to grant permission** to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for its planned **November 7 rally at Quetta’s Hockey Ground**, citing security concerns. However, PTI Balochistan and its allied parties under the **Tehreek Tahaffuz-e-Aain-e-Pakistan (Movement for the Protection of the Constitution)** have **vowed to proceed with the rally regardless of the ban**.

According to reports, the administration has submitted its refusal and security report to the **Balochistan High Court**, asserting that law and order conditions in the province do not permit such a large public gathering.

Addressing a joint press conference, **PTI Balochistan President Dawood Shah Kakar**, **Rahim Ziaratwal** of the **Pashtoon Milli Awami Party**, **Agha Hassan Baloch** of the **BNP**, and **Allama Vilayat Hussain Jafari** of the **Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen**, declared that **holding a peaceful political gathering is a constitutional and democratic right**, and warned the government against creating obstacles.

Dawood Shah Kakar alleged that the administration’s refusal was made **under pressure from the provincial government**, and announced that PTI would “**definitely hold its rally on November 7**.” He warned that any attempt to disrupt the event would be the **sole responsibility of the administration**.

He also criticized the so-called **“Form 47 government”**, accusing it of **failing to protect citizens’ lives and property** and blaming provincial ministers for **corruption and misuse of power**.

Allied parties expressed full support for PTI’s rally, condemning the government’s move as a **conspiracy to suppress political voices**. They reaffirmed their commitment to the **Tehreek Tahaffuz-e-Aain-e-Pakistan movement**, pledging to continue their **struggle for the restoration of democracy and the end of the “Form 47 regime.”**
