Train Service Restored on Quetta–Taftan Section After Repair of Blown-Up Railway Bridge

Quetta:** Train operations on the Quetta–Taftan Railway Line have been restored after the repair of a railway bridge that was destroyed in a blast about 35 days ago in Nushki District of Balochistan.
According to Pakistan Railways officials, unknown individuals had blown up the railway bridge with explosives on **January 31** in the **Kashingi area** of Nushki, suspending train services from Quetta to Taftan and onward to Iran.
Railway authorities completed the repair work after **35 days of continuous efforts**, allowing train operations on the route to resume.
Following the restoration of the track, two freight trains that had been halted in Ahmadwal and Dalbandin successfully reached Quetta.
