Etihad Airways Resumes Flights from Peshawar After 10 Years

Islamabad: Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates, has resumed its flight operations from Peshawar after a decade, marking a significant milestone for Pakistan’s aviation sector.
On Monday, flight **EY 276** from Abu Dhabi landed at Bacha Khan International Airport, Peshawar, where it was welcomed with a traditional water salute. The airline will now operate **five weekly flights** between Abu Dhabi and Peshawar on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
According to the schedule, return flight **EY 277** will depart from Peshawar at 8:00 AM. With this development, Etihad Airways has become the **third international airline to restart operations from Peshawar in 2025**, after Flydubai and Flyadeal.
Officials said the new flights will provide passengers with greater convenience, wider travel options, and enhanced global connectivity. Locals from Peshawar and surrounding areas expressed gratitude to Etihad Airways for resuming services after 10 years.
