PAF Chief Reaffirms Commitment to Defending Pakistan Through Space, Cyber, and Electronic Warfare Capabilities

ISLAMABAD: Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu, Chief of Air Staff, has reaffirmed that the **Pakistan Air Force (PAF) remains committed to safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty through advancements in space capabilities, electronic warfare, and cyber technologies**.
As the nation observed **Air Force Day** today to commemorate the historic aerial battle of September 7, 1965, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that **ceremonies were held at all air bases across the country** to pay tribute to the martyrs of the 1965 and 1971 wars.
The central ceremony took place at **Air Headquarters, Islamabad**, where Air Chief Sidhu laid a floral wreath at the Martyrs’ Monument and offered prayers for their elevated ranks.
In his address, the Air Chief lauded the PAF’s **tradition of sacrifice, courage, and professional excellence**, saying that **the successes of the Battle of Haq** proved the PAF’s unwavering resolve to defend Pakistan’s airspace.
> “We shall always remain indebted to the great sacrifices of our heroes. Their devotion and courage are a guiding light for future generations,” he said.
Air Chief Sidhu also expressed **unwavering solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir**, praising their rightful struggle for self-determination.
Reiterating his vision for a modernized force, he said the PAF will continue to strengthen **local defense production, cyber technologies, and space-based capabilities** to ensure the protection of Pakistan’s sovereignty and prosperity.
