New Real-Time Monitoring System Introduced at Passport Department

Islamabad: The Passport Department has launched a new system to monitor applications, printing, and overall performance in real time, both within Pakistan and globally.
Under the directives of DG Passports, a dedicated 24/7 monitoring room has been established at the headquarters. The digital integrated dashboard will allow continuous monitoring and evaluation of daily operations, marking a key milestone in delivering transparent, efficient, and speedy passport services.
The system enables supervision of every stage, from application submission to passport delivery. It can automatically detect crowding at passport offices, monitor staff performance, and track the passport printing process. Additionally, the network management system will keep track of backlogs and machinery status.
According to DG Passports Mustafa Jamal Qazi, the new system will enhance departmental efficiency, monitor staff performance, and manage citizen traffic at all offices. A mechanism has also been introduced to promptly address any issues identified during monitoring.
