Pakistan’s Integrity Must Rise Above Divisions, Say Jhalawan Awami Panel Leaders

QUETTA:Leaders of the Jhalawan Awami Panel, including Mir Muti-ur-Rehman Mengal, Mir Nadeem-ur-Rehman, Mir Shahbaz Khan Qalandrani, Mir Safiullah, and Naseer Ahmed Mengal, emphasized national unity and patriotism during their speeches at the “Nazriya-e-Pakistan Conference” organized by the Shaal Zone at Quetta Press Club on Thursday.
They said that **Independence Day is a symbol of the sacrifices made by our elders and forefathers**, and it must be observed with dignity and national spirit. “We must rise above personal and group differences and unite for the integrity, peace, stability, and development of the country,” they stated.
The speakers criticized nationalist elements for opposing Pakistan and pledged to **foil their conspiracies**. “Pakistan’s future lies in unity. We must reject the propaganda of anti-state forces and contribute positively to national development,” they added.
The panel leaders stressed that Pakistan’s defense is in strong hands and that the armed forces are fully capable of responding to any aggression. “The enemy has already been taught a harsh lesson,” they said, adding that all plots to destabilize Balochistan would fail.
“Ask the value of freedom from nations like Palestine and other oppressed Muslim countries struggling for independence. We should be grateful for living in a free Pakistan,” the leaders noted.
They also paid tribute to **Shaheed Mir Atta-ur-Rehman Mengal**, calling him a brave son of the soil who stood firmly against anti-state elements and sacrificed his life for the motherland. “We salute our martyrs and pledge to follow in their footsteps. We will become an iron wall against terrorism and enemies of the country.”
The event concluded with a collective commitment to continue working for Pakistan’s security, peace, prosperity, and to keep the spirit of freedom alive through meaningful action.
