Pukhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party Condemns Illegal Land Allotment in Ziarat

Ziarat:The central general secretary of Pukhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PKMAP), Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal, along with the provincial deputy secretary Sardar Habib ur Rehman Domar, district secretary Sardar Mirowais Khan Kakar, and other district executives, strongly condemned the illegal allotment of 177,000 acres of ancestral land in Ziarat district to the Forest Department. This allotment, which took place on June 4, 2025, was deemed unlawful, as the land in question belongs to the local tribes.

In a meeting of the party’s district committee, the leaders stressed that such an attempt to seize the tribal land under the guise of allotment would not be tolerated under any circumstances. The PKMAP leaders declared that they would not remain silent on this crucial issue and vowed to launch a strong political and social campaign in collaboration with various tribal, political, and community groups.

In response, the party has announced that a representative **Olasi Jirga** (tribal council) will be held on **July 20, 2025**, at **9:30 AM**, in the Degree College Hall, Ziarat. The **Olasi Jirga** will be chaired by Nawab Muhammad Ayaz Khan Jogezai, the convenor of the **Pukhtoon Olasi Jirga**.

PKMAP has invited all political and democratic parties, tribal elders, religious scholars, lawyers, and civil society representatives to participate in this important gathering to form a unified plan of action. The goal is to take concrete steps against the illegal land allotment and any actions that threaten the rights of the local tribes.

PKMAP leaders reiterated that the Pashtun nation has always defended its land, resources, and rights through constitutional, legal, and democratic means. They assured that the party would continue to resist any unjust or unlawful actions while protecting its heritage. They also urged all tribal, political, and social groups in Ziarat to participate in the **Olasi Jirga** and demonstrate solidarity for the protection of their ancestral lands.
