Concerns Raised Over Alleged Fake Land Allotments in Loralai and Zhob Divisions

Quetta – Strong concerns have been raised over alleged fake allotments of ancestral tribal lands in various areas of Loralai and Zhob divisions, according to a press release issued by Pakhtunkhwa National Awami Party (PkNAP).
The party strongly condemned the reported irregularities and accused the Divisional Settlement Officer Muhammad Waris of involvement in bribery, fraud, and corruption. The statement alleged that his actions have created serious difficulties, disputes, and unrest among local tribal communities.
PkNAP claimed that the official has been directly involved in facilitating fake land allotments and has allegedly benefited financially, including accusations of embezzlement worth millions of rupees. The statement further alleged that he has repeatedly claimed support from higher authorities while carrying out such activities.
The party has called on the Chief Minister of Balochistan, the Chief Secretary, and other relevant authorities to take immediate action against the accused officer, suspend him from service, and conduct a high-level investigation into all disputed land allotments.
It further demanded that all allegedly fraudulent allotments be cancelled and that an honest and transparent officer be appointed in his place to restore trust and resolve ongoing grievances in the affected areas.
