Conflicting Reports Over President Trump’s Alleged Visit to Pakistan; No Official Confirmation Yet
Islamabad: Speculation continues to swirl around reports of former U.S. President Donald Trump’s possible visit to Pakistan, with no official confirmation from either side. Private Pakistani TV channel Geo News recently claimed that President Trump is expected to visit Islamabad on September 18, allegedly during a broader regional tour that includes India.
However, contradicting this claim, a report published on July 14 by Royal UK, a website covering the British Royal Family, states that President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump have accepted an official invitation from the British monarch. The report says they will be in the United Kingdom from September 17 to 19, 2025, for a state visit that includes hosting at Windsor Castle.
While the Pakistani media source cites unnamed insiders suggesting a brief visit to Pakistan before his India trip, the UK visit appears to be formally scheduled, raising questions about the feasibility of a simultaneous Pakistan stop.
It is also worth noting that since the ceasefire agreement between Pakistan and India, Trump has seen a rise in popularity among the Pakistani public. However, until now, no official confirmation or itinerary has been released by the U.S. State Department or the Government of Pakistan regarding a visit.
More details are expected to emerge as the dates approach, and any official announcements will likely settle the uncertainty surrounding the alleged visit.
