Islamabad High Court Issues Notice on Request to Transfer PTI Founder to Shifa Hospital
Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court has issued a notice regarding a request to transfer the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to Shifa Hospital for medical treatment.
The petition was heard by a bench comprising Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir and Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro, with objections from the Registrar’s office. Advocates Latif Khosa, Salman Akram Raja, and other lawyers appeared in court on behalf of the petitioner.
Advocate Latif Khosa requested that the hospital transfer plea be scheduled for hearing the following day. Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir responded that it would take two to three days to prepare the paper book but confirmed that a notice has been issued to the state regarding the hospital transfer request.
The court also scheduled the main appeal for next week and instructed the parties to come prepared for the hearing. Additionally, the court set the Toshakhana criminal case for hearing on March 10.
