Wave of Appointments and Transfers in Punjab Wildlife Department; Key Officials’ Charges Changed

Lahore: The Secretary of Forests, Wildlife, and Fisheries in Punjab, Mudassar Riaz Malik, has issued orders for wide-ranging appointments and transfers within the Wildlife Department based on the recommendations of Chief Wildlife Ranger, Mubeen Elahi.
According to the issued notification, several officers have been immediately reassigned to new responsibilities, while some have been given additional temporary charges to ensure smooth operations in the absence of training officers.
Details indicate that Deputy Chief Wildlife Rangers, Ihsan Ahmed Raja of Rawalpindi Region and Zahid Iqbal Sheikh of Gujranwala Region, have been directed to report to the headquarters immediately. Similarly, Deputy Chief Wildlife Ranger Arfa Batool from the Gujarat Region has been transferred to Rawalpindi Region, while Asim Kamran, Deputy Chief Wildlife Ranger from Lahore, has been sent to Gujranwala Region.
Furthermore, Assistant Chief Wildlife Ranger from Mandibahauddin District, Syed Usman-ul-Hassan, has been assigned additional charge as Deputy Chief Wildlife Ranger for Gujarat Region. Arshad Naz from Narowal District has been given additional charge in Gujranwala until the completion of training for ACWR Miss Maryam Faiz. Additionally, Rizwana Aziz from Rawalpindi District has been posted to Attock District until the completion of training for ACWR Shahzeeb.
In other appointments, Mohammad Imran from Chakwal District has been assigned temporary responsibilities in Mianwali, while Shahbaz Anwar Mann from Okara District has been posted to Sahiwal. Mohammad Taimoor from Jhelum Headquarters has been given the interim charge for Jhelum District. Furthermore, Syed Ali Usman Bukhari, currently serving as Deputy Chief Wildlife Ranger in Bahawalpur, has been assigned the additional charge of Assistant Chief Wildlife Ranger in Bahawalpur District.
Other notable assignments include Muhammad Ashfaq to Layyah District, Muhammad Saleem to Bhakkar District, Amir Jameel to Kasur District, Namra Rashid to Bahawalpur Headquarters, and Mujahid Kaleem to Assistant Chief Wildlife Ranger of the Protection Force in Cholistan.
According to sources within the Wildlife Department, these appointments and transfers are aimed at improving administrative performance and ensuring effective monitoring in the field. It is expected that this move will further enhance the conservation activities in the region.
