Pakistan to Face Myanmar in AFC Asian Cup Qualifier on Tuesday

Karachi:Pakistan’s national football team is gearing up for their upcoming AFC Asian Cup qualifier match against Myanmar, set to take place on Tuesday. The team has already begun its preparations under the supervision of foreign head coach, Stephen Constantine.
The players participated in an intense practice session on Sunday, after arriving in Yangon via Bangkok. The team rested on Saturday, recovering from their journey. The match will be held at the Thuwanna Stadium in Yangon, with a local kickoff time of 3:30 PM, which is 12:30 PM Pakistani time.
Pakistan is placed in Group E, along with Syria, Myanmar, and Afghanistan. In their opening match, Pakistan suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Syria, which has put additional pressure on them to secure a positive result against Myanmar.
However, Pakistan will be without the services of young striker Ryan Muhammad, who was expected to play a key role in the team’s attack. The 19-year-old footballer, from Scotland, sustained a hamstring injury during the Islamabad camp and will not feature in the Myanmar match.
As Pakistan looks to bounce back from their loss to Syria, the focus will be on improving their performance and securing a crucial win in their qualification campaign.
