Bitcoin Hits Historic High, Surpasses \$110,000 as Pakistani Investors Join Crypto Boom

Islamabad:In an unprecedented move, **Bitcoin (BTC)** surged past the **\$110,000 mark** on Thursday morning, setting a new all-time high. This milestone comes after a notable rebound from April’s dip, when BTC had fallen to around **\$75,000**, gaining more than **\$30,000** in value since then.

According to data from crypto exchanges, Bitcoin climbed approximately **4%**, reaching **\$110,100** at around **6:00 AM PST**, before stabilizing at **\$109,881** by **7:50 AM** following a modest 3% gain.

The recent surge in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies has been driven by **renewed investor confidence**, with several global economies signaling increased trust and interest in the **crypto space** as a high-return financial frontier.

In Pakistan, the momentum was further boosted by a major government announcement. On **Wednesday**, the **Ministry of Finance** revealed plans to **establish the Pakistan Digital Assets Authority**, a regulatory body aimed at overseeing digital assets and accelerating the growth of Pakistan’s estimated **\$25 billion virtual economy**.

This announcement has prompted thousands of **new Pakistani investors** to enter the market, many of whom are investing heavily in **small to mid-cap cryptocurrencies**, fueling further optimism and market activity.
