India’s Bullying Era Is Over — Pakistan Has Silenced It, Says Sheikh Rashid

Rawalpindi:Chief of Awami Muslim League and former federal minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has stated that India had long maintained a policy of bullying its neighbors, but Pakistan’s latest response has firmly “shut it down.”

Speaking to the media in Rawalpindi, Sheikh Rashid praised Pakistan’s retaliatory military operation against India, saying, *“Last night, Pakistan made it clear that we are a living, breathing nation. We live and die for Pakistan and Islam, and we are ready to sacrifice our lives for them.”*

He strongly condemned India’s treatment of minorities, saying, *“The way Muslims, Sikhs, and even Jews are being persecuted in India, Pakistan’s 250 million people will give India a lesson that will be remembered for generations.”*

Rashid noted that while major world powers were calling for peace, *“last night the Pakistan Army showed the enemy its strength and made them bite the dust.”* He reaffirmed his unwavering support for Pakistan’s armed forces and expressed his personal readiness to fight if required:
*”It would be an honor to stand at the border. If we live, we are victors; if we die, we are martyrs. I pray Allah grants me the opportunity to embrace martyrdom. If needed, I will personally go to the border and fight for my Kashmiri and Muslim brothers.”*

Commenting on India’s Rafale fighter jets, Rashid proudly referenced Pakistan’s JF-17 Thunder program: *“I visited the JF-17 development facilities twice. Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan was like a brother to me, and during my tenure, we supported the development of the JF-17. Today, Rafale jets are powerless before it.”*

When asked about the potential release of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, he said, *“Thousands are in jail—at this point, they might as well open all the prisons.”*
