Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Calls for Public War Against Drug Dealers in Gwadar

GwadarضMaulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch, leader of the Haq Do Movement in Balochistan and a member of the Provincial Assembly, has announced a public campaign against drug dealers and alcohol outlets in Gwadar. In a significant video message on Monday, he stated that a collective battle would be fought against drug traffickers and that their names would be displayed on the streets of Gwadar to expose them.

Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman expressed deep concern over the destructive impact of drugs on the local population, emphasizing that drug dealers are enemies of the community and the future generations. He urged the Inspector General of Police (IGP) and the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Gwadar to take stringent action against the drug trade, regardless of the influence or power of the perpetrators. He called for immediate and severe measures against these criminals.

The provincial assembly member also appealed to the residents of various towns and villages in Gwadar to provide the names of local drug dealers and their outlets within three days to the Haq Do Movement or Jamaat-e-Islami Gwadar office. He emphasized that these names would be publicly posted at major intersections, roundabouts, and streets in Gwadar to raise awareness and mobilize action against this growing menace.
