Boosting Exports Essential for Economic Growth, Says Finance Minister

Islamabad — Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has said that Pakistan had to take several important steps to stabilize the economy, noting that the country has passed through difficult circumstances. He emphasized that increasing exports is essential for sustainable economic growth.

Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad, the finance minister stated that the national economy is now moving in the right direction and has become more stable.

He added that enhancing exports is indispensable for the country’s economic progress, and the private sector is playing a key role in driving Pakistan forward.

The minister further noted that the Prime Minister has instructed the government to introduce comprehensive reforms aimed at boosting business and promoting economic development.
