7-Year-Old Son of Pakistani Army Officer Martyred in Unprovoked Indian Shelling Across LoC

Islamabad, May 7 – In a tragic incident during the night between May 6 and 7, Indian forces carried out unprovoked shelling across the Line of Control (LoC), targeting several areas of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The attack resulted in the martyrdom of 7-year-old Arz-e-Abbas, the son of Pakistan Army’s Lieutenant Colonel Zaheer.
According to security sources, the shelling deliberately targeted innocent civilians, reflecting the inhumane and aggressive intentions of the Indian military. The cowardly assault has sparked widespread grief and outrage across Pakistan, with citizens condemning India’s actions and calling for international accountability.
The Pakistan Army has strongly denounced the targeting of children, calling it a blatant act of brutality. Officials emphasized that this attack is an example of extreme barbarity and that such actions will not go unanswered.
In response, the Pakistan Armed Forces have assured the nation of a strong and effective retaliation to defend its people and uphold national sovereignty. Security officials stated that Pakistan’s military remains fully prepared to respond to any form of aggression and will ensure that no innocent life is endangered in the future.
In some areas, Indian forces were reported to have raised white flags, acknowledging their defeat in face of Pakistan’s firm military stance. This, according to security sources, is clear evidence of India’s failure in its aggressive agenda.
The martyrdom of young Arz-e-Abbas has united the nation in mourning, while the armed forces reaffirm their commitment to protecting the country and delivering a decisive response to any hostile act from across the border.
