Karachi’s Mustafa Amir Murder Case: Main Accused Armaghan Qureshi Faces Multiple Charges

Armaghan Qureshi, the prime suspect in the high-profile Mustafa Amir murder case in Karachi, has been named in a total of 11 criminal cases to date, with 2 of them settled through reconciliation.
One of the first cases against Armaghan was filed in 2019 at Karachi’s Clifton Police Station, where he was accused of threatening a citizen. However, the case was dismissed after the parties involved reached a settlement, leading to his release.
In addition, another case was filed against Armaghan at the Darakhshan Police Station, where he was accused of threatening a citizen with murder and firing in the air. Another case was lodged at the Gizri Police Station, where Armaghan allegedly assaulted and deceived a citizen over a car sale dispute.
Other charges against him include a case for firing at a tanker and puncturing its tires, which was also registered at the Darakhshan Police Station but later dismissed following a reconciliation between Armaghan and the plaintiff. Additionally, Armaghan faces charges for threatening a lawyer, a case registered at the Boat Basin Police Station, where he has been declared a proclaimed offender.
Armaghan is also facing charges related to the kidnapping of Mustafa Amir at the Darakhshan Police Station, along with charges of attempted murder and a police encounter at the AVCC Police Station. Furthermore, two cases for possessing illegal firearms have been filed against him at the AVCC Police Station.
Additionally, Armaghan is involved in two cases concerning attempts to import narcotics through courier services. The court has summoned Armaghan for a hearing on March 15, during which the records of the cases filed against him will be presented.
