ICC T20I Rankings: Travis Head Leads Batters, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan Slip

Islamabad:The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest T20 International (T20I) rankings, with some significant shifts in the top positions. Australia’s Travis Head has climbed to the number one spot among T20I batters, while England’s Phil Salt holds the second position.

India’s Tilak Varma has made a remarkable rise, moving up 69 spots to claim the third position. Meanwhile, India’s Suryakumar Yadav has dropped one spot to fourth. Pakistan’s star batter Babar Azam, after a decline, has fallen from fourth to fifth place, while his teammate and Pakistan’s T20I captain Mohammad Rizwan has also dropped one position to sixth.

Notably, apart from Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, no other Pakistani batter is ranked in the ICC T20I top 10.

In the ICC T20I bowler rankings, England’s Adil Rashid continues to hold the top spot, followed by Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga in second and Australia’s Adam Zampa in third.

For all-rounders, India’s Hardik Pandya maintains the number one position, with Nepal’s Dipendra Singh Airee in second and England’s Liam Livingstone in third. Pakistan’s only representative in the top 20 all-rounder rankings is Nauman Ali, who holds the 19th spot.

These rankings reflect the recent performances of players in T20 internationals, with some notable rises and falls among the top-ranked players.
