US Chargé d’Affaires Says Pakistan Has Become a Hub of Global Politics

ISLAMABAD: United States Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker has said that Pakistan has emerged as a central hub of global politics due to its growing diplomatic engagement and mediation role in international affairs.

Speaking to the media, she expressed gratitude for coverage related to the US–Iran interim agreement and appreciated the Pakistani media for its role in promoting and strengthening Pakistan–US relations. She said the media had provided positive reporting on developments between the two countries.

Natalie Baker stated that relations between Pakistan and the United States are currently at a high point, with continuous communication taking place between US President Donald Trump, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Pakistan’s military leadership, including Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir.

She further remarked that Pakistan’s role in diplomatic mediation has contributed to its growing importance on the global political stage, positioning the country as a key center for international political developments.

The US diplomat emphasized continued cooperation and positive momentum in bilateral relations between Washington and Islamabad.
