Judges Cannot Be Pressured by Crowds in Courts, Says Balochistan Chief Justice
Orders to Be Issued Against Publicizing Cases on Social Media; Video Link and One-Window Facilities Introduced at High Court

QUETTA (Daily Qudrat Quetta): Chief Justice of the Balochistan High Court Justice Kamran Khan Malakhail has said that judges cannot be pressured by creating crowds in court premises, while orders will be issued against the promotion and publicity of court cases on social media.
Addressing a ceremony, Justice Kamran Malakhail said the Balochistan Bar Association had always upheld judicial and legal traditions. He congratulated the newly appointed judicial officers and said the number of lawyers in the province was increasing day by day.
However, he expressed concern over the quality of legal education, saying that law graduates were being “made” rather than properly taught. He urged bar associations and lawyers’ organisations to pay attention to the issue.
The Chief Justice said there was also a need to examine the working and standards of law colleges to ensure that students received quality legal education and proper practical training.
Video Link Facility Available at High Court
Justice Kamran Malakhail said a video link facility had been made available at the Balochistan High Court, allowing litigants and lawyers from remote areas to benefit from court proceedings without having to travel long distances.
He said the facility would save litigants and lawyers both time and money and would make access to justice easier.
One-Window Operation Being Introduced
The Chief Justice said a one-window operation was also being introduced at the High Court to facilitate litigants and lawyers in matters related to their cases.
He said the initiative would help reduce unnecessary visits to different offices and streamline the process of obtaining judicial services.
Justice Kamran Malakhail also urged people to avoid unnecessary crowds on court premises, stressing the importance of maintaining discipline and ensuring a secure environment.
Orders Against Case Publicity on Social Media
The Chief Justice said orders would be issued against publicizing pending court cases on social media and turning them into unnecessary subjects of public discussion.
He made it clear that judges could not be brought under pressure by creating crowds in court premises.
“We also have a responsibility for the protection of the public and litigants,” he said, adding that court security was reviewed several times a day to ensure the safety of judges, lawyers, litigants and judicial staff.
Chief Justice of Pakistan to Visit Quetta
Justice Kamran Malakhail further said that the Chief Justice of Pakistan would visit Quetta soon.
He said the higher judiciary was also focusing on the judicial system in Balochistan and the issues faced by the people of the province.
