Four Militants Killed in Security Operation in Ziarat-Harnai Border Area

QUETTA: Security forces killed four militants during an intelligence-based operation in the mountainous border area between Ziarat and Harnai, security sources said.

According to the sources, security forces launched the operation after receiving intelligence reports about the presence of militants in the area. Surveillance confirmed the presence of three to four suspected militants inside an abandoned house.

Following the confirmation, security forces cordoned off the hideout and conducted an effective operation, resulting in the deaths of four militants.

Security sources said search and sanitization operations were continuing in the area following the operation. Further action against militant elements was also underway.
