‘Ertugrul Ghazi’ Actor Celal Al Congratulates Pakistanis on Independence Day in Urdu
ANKARA: Turkish actor Celal Al, widely known for his roles in the popular historical dramas Diriliş: Ertuğrul and Kuruluş: Osman, has won the hearts of Pakistani fans by sending a special Independence Day message in Urdu.
Celal Al, who portrayed the memorable character of Abdur Rahman Ghazi, shared a video message on social media in which he congratulated the people of Pakistan on Independence Day and paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country’s defence.
Highlighting the longstanding friendship and brotherhood between Pakistan and Türkiye, the actor reiterated the spirit of “Kardeş Türkiye Pakistan” — referring to the two countries as brothers.
Speaking in Urdu, Celal Al said: “My Pakistani brothers and sisters, happy Independence Day of Pakistan. My salutations to the martyrs of Pakistan.”
At the end of the video, the actor enthusiastically raised the slogan “Pakistan Zindabad”, further delighting his Pakistani fans.
The video has gone viral on social media, with Pakistani users warmly praising Celal Al for his affectionate message, his use of the Urdu language and his expression of solidarity with the people of Pakistan.
