Balochistan High Court Gets Three New Additional Judges

QUETTA: Following approval by President Asif Ali Zardari, the Ministry of Law and Justice has issued a formal notification appointing three additional judges to the Balochistan High Court.
According to the notification, Muhammad Rauf Atta, Advocate Supreme Court, Allah Dad Roshan, District and Sessions Judge, and Abdul Qayyum Lehri, District and Sessions Judge, have been appointed as additional judges of the Balochistan High Court.
The appointments have been made for a period of one year, effective from the date on which the respective judges take oath.
The three appointments were made against five vacant positions in the Balochistan High Court, while appointments to the remaining two vacancies have not yet been made.
According to sources cited by Bolta Balochistan, the Judicial Commission of Pakistan had recommended the appointments last month. Following presidential approval, the Ministry of Law and Justice issued the official notification today, August 11, 2026.
