Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Calls for Suspension of Security Officials Over Recent Incident

Quetta:Jamaat-e-Islami’s provincial chief and Member of the Balochistan Assembly, Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman, addressed the media and criticized the recent suspension of the Deputy Commissioners of Ziarat and Hernai. He stated that rather than punishing the deputy commissioners, the authorities responsible for security lapses in the incident should be held accountable and suspended.

Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman emphasized that if suspensions are to be made, not only should the Deputy Commissioners of Ziarat and Hernai be targeted, but the Deputy Commissioner of Quetta should also be held accountable, as the security failures in the region were widespread. His remarks come after an incident in the province that raised questions regarding the effectiveness of local administration and security measures.
