Balochistan CM Sarfraz Bugti Announces Compensation and Support Package for Ziarat Martyrs’ Families

Balochistan Chief Minister **Mir Sarfraz Bugti** visited **Ziarat**, where he paid tribute at the **Quaid Residency** and was presented with a guard of honor by a police contingent.

During the visit, the chief minister met the families of those killed in the Ziarat incident, expressed condolences, offered prayers for the departed, and distributed financial assistance cheques to the bereaved families.

Addressing a ceremony, Bugti described the martyrs as the pride of the nation, saying their sacrifices would never be forgotten. He pledged that the provincial government would stand by the families of the victims and ensure their welfare.

He said those responsible for the Ziarat tragedy, as well as anyone found negligent, would face action without discrimination. He added that an inquiry committee would identify those responsible based on the findings of its transparent investigation.

The chief minister stressed that terrorism has no connection with Islam or with Baloch and Pashtun traditions. He also praised the sacrifices of the **Balochistan Police**, **Frontier Corps (FC)**, and other security forces, urging the public to support state institutions instead of becoming part of hostile propaganda.

Bugti announced that the government would bear the educational expenses of the martyrs’ children until the age of **16**, provide one government job to a member of each bereaved family, and ensure comprehensive medical facilities.

He further announced a compensation package of **Rs110 million per family**, saying the funds had already been approved and released. The chief minister concluded by emphasizing that Pakistan’s security, national unity, and strong state institutions are a shared responsibility, adding that his doors would always remain open to the families of the martyrs.
