Uncle Allegedly Kills Five Family Members in Quetta Over Old Enmity

Quetta: A horrific firing incident in the Sariab Link Badini area of Quetta left five members of a family dead after an alleged attack by their close relative, police said.

According to police officials, the incident stemmed from an old personal enmity. The accused allegedly entered the house and opened indiscriminate fire on his brother-in-law, three nephews, and a niece, killing all five on the spot.

Sources said the victim’s family had previously lodged complaints against the suspect with the police and the Serious Crime Wing. Despite this, the accused managed to escape after carrying out the attack.

Following the killings, the victims’ relatives staged a strong protest by placing the bodies on Sariab Link Badini Road and demanding the immediate arrest of the suspect.

The protestors claimed that the accused had earlier been involved in the murder of two other members of the same family but had still not been arrested by law enforcement authorities.

Demonstrators further alleged that the suspect, accused of killing seven people in total, continues to move freely while authorities have failed to take effective action against him.
