K-Electric Launches Cashless Bill Payment Service for Karachi Customers

Karachi: K-Electric has introduced a new cashless bill payment facility, allowing customers in Karachi to pay their electricity bills without using cash. The initiative is aimed at providing consumers with a faster, safer, and more convenient payment experience.
According to a statement issued by the utility company, customers can now pay their electricity bills through Point of Sale (POS) machines installed at selected K-Electric Customer Care Centers. The service is designed to eliminate the need to wait in long queues at banks and bill collection centers.
K-Electric said the new payment system accepts a wide range of local and international debit and credit cards, including PayPak, Visa, Mastercard, and UnionPay. The company added that the system has been developed in line with modern security standards to ensure safe and reliable digital transactions.
A K-Electric spokesperson said the cashless bill payment service would make the billing process more transparent while saving customers valuable time. The company also stated that it is working on introducing additional digital services to further enhance customer convenience.
Experts say the initiative aligns with Pakistan’s growing adoption of digital payments, making bill payments easier for consumers while promoting a cashless economy. The new service is expected to benefit millions of K-Electric customers across Karachi by enabling quicker and more convenient bill payments.
