Senior Boxer Ahmad Yar Shot Dead in Quetta Over Alleged Family Dispute

Quetta: Senior boxer Ahmad Yar was shot dead in the Hazarganji area of Quetta, police said.

According to SHO Shalkot Adil Shah, the victim was allegedly killed by his cousin, identified as Anwar, following a domestic dispute.

Police said the suspect fled the scene immediately after the shooting, and efforts are underway to arrest him.

Authorities added that both the deceased, Ahmad Yar, and the suspect worked at the same automobile mechanic workshop.

Following the incident, police collected evidence from the crime scene and launched an investigation. Raids are being conducted in different areas to locate and apprehend the accused.

The shooting occurred in the Hazarganji area on the previous day, and further investigation is ongoing.
