Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party Criticizes Government Over Hanna Urak Attack, Announces Public Rally on Wednesday

Quetta: The Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party (PkMAP) has criticized the Balochistan government over the security situation following the Hanna Urak attack, alleging that it has failed to protect citizens and maintain law and order.

A party delegation led by Senior Central Secretary Syed Abdul Qadir Agha, Provincial President Nasrullah Khan Zerey, and other leaders visited the ongoing protest sit-in outside B.A. Mall in Quetta to express solidarity with the victims’ families and support calls for justice.

In a statement issued during the visit, party leaders said the government had failed to ensure public safety, claiming that four people had been killed, 11 remained missing, and several others were injured in the Hanna Urak incident. They demanded the immediate recovery of the missing individuals, the arrest of those responsible for the attack, and prompt justice for the affected families.

The party also announced its full support for the demands presented by the Hanna Urak protest committee.

Later, PkMAP representatives, including Nasrullah Khan Zerey and Provincial Secretary Faqir Khushhal Kasi, attended an all-parties conference chaired by **Maulvi Rahmatullah>.

According to the statement, participants at the conference unanimously agreed to hold a large public gathering on Wednesday in front of B.A. Mall. The rally is expected to be attended by representatives of various political parties, lawyers, the business community, and civil society organizations.

The party appealed to the public to participate in the gathering and express solidarity with the families of those affected by the Hanna Urak incident.
